Our PYO strawberry fields are closed for the season.

We have been growing strawberries for 21 years, and in that time, we have never had such intermittent opening and closings of our PYO patch. Our apologies to those who may have wished to pick, and were not able to. Our PYO fields yielded significantly less fruit than normal, due to a cold and wet, spring and summer, and plants that did not look hearty last season when we originally planted them.

The plants we planted this year, for next year’s harvest are healthy, so we are hopeful for a good crop again next year.
